I Objectives
By the end of the lesson students will able to:
- Use some football vocabulary to ask and answer about the World Cup and to talk about the World Cup winners

- Textbook, handouts, board, extra boards VI Anticipated problems
- Students may not have sufficient vocabulary to talk about the topic, so T should be ready to assist them

Time Steps Work arrangement 5’ WARM-UP
Instruction: Match the names of famous footballers to their
national team
-T gives names of some famous footballers in the handouts: Totti, Rooney, Ronaldo, Ballack, Buffon, Frings, Beckham, Ronaldinho, Tervez, Benzema, Henry, Messi
-T divides Ss into six groups Each group will be given a country (Group 1: Brazil, Group 2: Germany, Group 3: England, Group 4: Italy,Group 5: Argentina,Group 6: France ) - T asks these groups to write down their answers on the board - T checks
Answer:
