IoT, Internet of Things is a concept referring to billions of physical devices around the world that are currently connected to the internet, collecting and sharing data thanks to a wireless network processor This adds "digital intelligence" to passive devices; allowing them to communicate without human participation and unifying the digital and physical worlds Figure 1.1.2 The importance of IoT When any device is connected to the internet, they can send and receive information, or both With the IoT the ability to send or receive information makes everything easy and smart is always the navigation to Perfomed Student: xxxxxxx 10 For things to be smart, they don't need to have a super storage or supercomputer inside it All we have to is connect to a super storage or to a supercomputer Figure In the Internet of Things, all things that are connected to the internet can be divided into three categories: • • • Type crawls and then posts it Kind gets information and then act Do both 1.1.3 Benefits of the Internet of Things 1.1.3.1Benefits for businesses The benefits of the IoT for business depend on the specific implementation, but businesses must have access to more data about their products and their internal systems and capabilities greater change capacity Manufacturers are adding sensors to their product components so they can pass on data about how they work This can help companies detect when a component is potentially defective and exchange it before it does any damage Companies can also use the data generated by these sensors to make their systems and supply chains more efficient because they'll have much more accurate data about what's going on out Perfomed Student: xxxxxxx 11 Enterprise use of the Internet of Things can be divided into two segments: industryspecific services such as sensors in power plants or real-time navigation equipment for healthcare; and IoT devices can be used in all industries, like smart air conditioners or security systems 1.1.3.2Benefits for consumers The Internet of Things promises to make our environment (home, office, and vehicles) smarter, easier to measure, and better Smart speakers like Amazon's Echo and Google Home make it easier to play music, set a timer, or get information The home security system makes it easy to keep track of what's going on inside and outside or to see and talk to visitors Meanwhile, the smart air conditioner can help us heat the house before we get back, and the smart light bulb can make it look like we're at home even when we're out Looking further, sensors can help us understand how noisy or polluted our environments are Self-driving cars and smart cities can change the way we build and manage public spaces However, many of these innovations can have a major impact on our privacy 1.1.4 Application of IoT in industries Internet of Things is widely used, referencing some areas that have been applying integrated IoT: Manufacturing industry Manufacturers can gain a competitive edge by using a machine condition monitoring solution in the production line to enable proactive maintenance on equipment when sensors detect an imminent fault The sensors can measure when the production output is compromised With the help of sensor warnings, manufacturers can quickly test a device's accuracy or remove it from production until it is repaired This allows companies to reduce operating costs, get better uptime, and improve asset performance management Car industry The automotive industry has recognized significant advantages from the use of IoT applications In addition to the benefits of applying IoT to production lines, sensors can Perfomed Student: xxxxxxx 12 detect impending equipment failures on vehicles already on the road and can alert drivers in detail Thanks to aggregate information collected by IoT-based applications, car manufacturers and suppliers can learn more about how to keep cars running and inform owners of the information ahead Transportation Fleets of cars, trucks, and cargo ships inventory can be rerouted based on weather conditions, vehicle availability, or driver availability, thanks to IoT sensor data The inventory itself can also be equipped with sensors for temperature monitoring and control The food and beverage, flower, and pharmaceutical industries are often temperature-sensitive inventory items that will benefit greatly from IoT monitoring apps that send notifications when temperature rises or falls are possible affect the product Retail industry IoT applications allow retail companies to manage inventory, improve customer experience, optimize supply chains, and reduce operating costs For example, smart shelves are equipped with weight sensors that can collect RFID-based information and send data to the IoT platform to automatically track inventory and trigger alerts if items are running low Health care The IoT offers many benefits to the healthcare industry Doctors and nurses often need to know the exact location of patient supportive assets such as wheelchairs When hospital wheelchairs are equipped with IoT sensors, they can be tracked from the IoT asset monitoring app so that anyone looking can quickly find the nearest available wheelchair Many hospital assets can be tracked in this way to ensure fair use as well as financial accounting of the physical assets in each department Perfomed Student: xxxxxxx 13 Figure The IoT has already started to impact the day-to-day interactions we have with the gadgets in our home (smart homes) our office (smart buildings) and in the local environment (smart cities) Explore the ways this may further impact individuals and society both positively and negatively 1.2 II Project initialization (P1) Việc phát triển dự án nhằm đáp Completion of the project will take place once the software package and documentation have been successfully implemented and transferred to SRS Recruitment Solutions Division for application with other client companies seeking recruitment solutions use All work of the project Smart Fridge Used to Balance Daily Rations for Users will be done internally and no part of this project will be outsourced Scope of this project may include changes in customer requirements for future software updatesSmart fridge used to balance daily rations for users 1.3.2 Time : state how many in the secondary research, its advantages/disadvantages - List of articles /books (at least books/2 articles and other internet sources) - Summarize about articles/Books you have read - Evaluation about your understanding ( • • • What you understand What you still don’t know or understand What can you if you have more time) 2.2 II Primary Research: Overview about Interview/Survey (Who, What, Why, When, Where) List of interview questions (include opened and closed questions) Summary about interview List of survey questions Summary about survey Evaluation about interview and Survey Perfomed Student: xxxxxxx 16 CHAPTER CONCLUSION LO1 Define basic algorithms to carry out an operation and outline the process of programming an application 3.1 Provide a definition of what an algorithm is and outline the process in building an application (P1) An algorithm (pronounced AL-go-rith-um) is a procedure or formula for solving a problem, based on conducting a sequence of specified actions A computer program can be viewed as an elaborate algorithm In mathematics and computer science, an algorithm usually means a small procedure that solves a recurrent problem Figure 3- 4: abx - ssss Algorithms are widely used throughout all areas of IT (information technology) A search engine algorithm, for example, takes search strings of keywords and operators as input, searches its associated database for relevant web pages, and returns results Table 1- 1: gfdgfdgfdgfd An encryption algorithm transforms data according to specified actions to protect it A secret key algorithm such as the U.S Department of Defense's Data Encryption Perfomed Student: xxxxxxx 17 Standard (DES), for example, uses the same key to encrypt and decrypt data As long as the algorithm is sufficiently sophisticated, no one lacking the key can decrypt the data 3.1.1 Expressing algorithms Ádsad Ádsada Ádasd 3.1.2 Criteria to create a good algorithm Sdsadsadsa 3.1.3 Aaaaa Dfs sdf fd sd fsd ds d d d sd
