(1)Wee: 32 Unit 15: SPACE CONQUEST A.READING Period 90 I OBJECTIVES: - Aims: Through the reading skills, sts can have a general idea of the lesson as well as enrich their knowledge in the field of space and spacecraft; how human conquered the space - Lexical items: words/ phrases related to space and spacecraft II TIME: 45’ III SKILLS: Reading for gist and for specific information IV METHOD: Integrated, mainly communicative V TEACHING AIDS: cassette player, chalks, pictures, and letters VI PROCEDURE: STAGES Warmer PreReading TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES (Teacher prepares a picture of a plane, a spacecraft and an astronaut)  T asks students to look at the pictures and answer the questions: - What can you see in each picture? - What you call a person who flies a plane/ a spaceship? - Which job you prefer, a pilot or an astronaut? Why?
