II. New lesson

1 Listening and speaking.

Give the sub board to write the words at part morning afternoon - Ask Ss to look and comment the bold letters

- -Introduce the sounds /η/ and /n/ in the word morning and the word afternoon

- Ask Ss to say what think about when they hear these sounds - Place the paper with the chant written on it on the board Ask Ss to listen and clap the syllables

-Translate the chant into Vietnamese

-Ask Ss to practice saying and miming the chant in group of six -Call on a group to recite and mime the chant The whole class observe and clap at the words in focus

-Check the Ss’comprehension 15’ 2 Listen and tick

a. Pre-listening - Having Ss identify the objects in the pictures Numbering the pictures according to the sequence what they hear - Asking Ps to explain how to

- Asking Ps to guess the result b. While-listening - Play the tape twice

- Ask Ss to trade their answer c. Post-listening : -call some ss give the key

(1d, 2c, 3b, 4a)

-Compare with their guess -listen and remarks

- read the listening one more - ask Ss to repeat the listening
