Mai: Family members sit round and start watching the national singing contest on television.But the last notesmust be sung before midnight.Then television or radio will broadcast 108 bells.The timing of the bells is very important

Lan: why is that?

Mai: Because the 108th bell must be ringing just a fraction before the midnight.As soon as the 108th bell is rung, people all say"Happy New Year"
