(1)Unit 7: WHAT DO YOU LIKE DOING? Lesson 2: 1-2-3
I Objectives:
- After the lesson, students are able to: Ask and answer the questions about someone’s hobbies Develop: Speaking skill
- Ss look after , solve problems and study themselves - Studious and obedient students and love their friends II Language focus:
- Vocabulary: all, music, music club….
- Sentence patterns: What is your/ his/her hobby?- My/ his/ her hobby is swimming.
III Teaching aids:
1 Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book,pictures, cassette. 2 Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IV Procedures
Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Warm up: Chatting game.
- Check some groups Listen and repeat
- Give some new words and the grammar
- Divide the class into two groups to play roles
2 Point and say
- Explain the new words if necessary
- Do a model
- Call some pairs to talk in front of the class

- Read the new words and guess the meaning - Listen and repeat Read in groups
- Read in pairs Then some pairs to read aloud
- Look at the pictures on the p48 and identify the characters and what they are doing
- Read the new words aloud
- Practice answering the question “What is your hobby?”
- Ss work in pairs to practice
- 6-7 pairs The rest of the class give comments - Act it out and correct
- Look and pay attention - Work in pair practice talking:
-7-8 pairs display in class, others comment
