By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to practice making suggestions with “ Let’s” and responding, the further practice in “ want to (do) ”

II/ Language contents:

* Grammar: : What/ How about going to Hue? Why don’t we go to Huong pagoda? Let’s go camping

Ask: What, How, Why ?

- What does Lan want to do? – She wants to

* Vocabulary: pagoda, minibus, too far, idea, suggestion , (v) want to Let’s What about ? Why don’t we ?

* Review: go to the beach, visit the museum, play volleyball, go to the zoo, play tennis, go camping,…

Form:

S1:Let’s + V = What/How about + V-ing ? = Why don’t we + V ? S2: That’s a good idea / Yes, let’s No, I don’t want to / No, let’s not.

Usage: Suggestions with : Let’s and answer: agreement or disagreement

Ex: S1: Let’s go camping S2: That’s a good idea Or: No, I don’t want to Review: Let’s + V

Lan is ill  Let’s go to visit her Why don’t we go to visit her ? What about going to visit her ?  Model sentences:

- What do you want to do? does she

T presents dialogue C.1 then plays the tape

Ss listen and practice in pairs

Call some Ss to practice the dialogue (in pairs)

- Students the task of C3 Students look at the pictures, wok with a partner and make suggestions, using “Let’s…, What about…?, Why don’t we…?”
