Unit 3: a trip to the countryside Lesson 1: getting started- listen and read. A.Objectives:

1 Aims:

- Introduce life, activities in the countryside

- By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to talk about life & activities in the countryside

+ Standard knowledge: Sts can check the sentences given If they are true or false and answer the questions about the text

+ Advanced knowledge: Ask and answer about Liz's trip to Ba's hometown.

- Vocabulary: plow, join, reach, collect, pick up, countryside, picnic, buffalo, paddy fields, banyan tree, journey

- structure: 'wish' + could" 2 Practice skill:

- practice the comprehension reading skill, writing and speaking skill 3 Attitude:

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice reading for detalis, doing some exercises

Lesson plan, textbooks, pictures, poster, tape and cassette recorder… C Methods:

- Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work
