1 Aim: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to: + Speak about the inventions using passive forms + Listen about paper making

2 While - speaking:

- Ask Ss to work in pairs to ask and answer questions to fill in the missing information in the tables

- Call on some pairs to practice before class - Get comments and correct

- Call on some ss to report their finding before class - Correct Ss’ mistakes if any

II Listening: (15’) Pre – listening:

- Introduce the scene and some new words: pulp (n), vat (n), roll (n), convey (n)

- Ask Ss to read the sentences and guess the missing words

- Get feedback and write on the board While - listening:

- Play the tape for Ss to listen and check their predictions - Get feedback and play the tape again for them to check their answer

- Give correct answer * Answer:

1 simple same two hundred left rollers Post – Listening:

- Ask Ss to listen to the text again and order the sentences

- Check the answer with class * Answer key:
