Mr Woolf bought it for her in London and, in the evenings, they used to sit by the fire and make these cigarettes themselves. Mrs Woolf wore clothes that suited her well. I pressed them for her and did any sewing that was necessary. She was not able to sew, although sometimes she liked to try.
