Lesson Plan - English Preparing day: Oct 5th, 2020 Teaching date: Oct 9th, 2020 Week Unit 2: MY HOME Period 13: Skills I Students ‘level: - Pre - intermediate II Main language focus:- Reading, Speaking and Writing III Integrated skills: - Reading, Writing and Speaking IV Main sub skills: Reading for specific information; Inferring; Sequencing V Specific objectives: Language skill: - Read for specific information about rooms and houses - Ask about and describe houses, rooms and furniture *Vocabulary: the lexical items related to the topic “My home” *Structures: There is / there isn’t There are / there aren’t Prepositions of place Social skills: - Cooperation through working individually, in pairs/ groups Prior knowledge: Most students would have learnt about prepositions of place, structures and grammar in this unit VI Teaching aids: Teacher: Pictures/ Flashcards, The Student’s book, Recording Students: Pens, notebooks, books Teacher Warm up(5’) - Tell the class about your house or your living room?
