How to greet people - Ask ss to listen to the tape to recognise the words used to greet people in English. * Note: Hello Hi ( falling tone) - tell the difference between hello and hi * Concept check: - get Ss to say hello/ hi to their classmates. - check in public 2. Miss ( for unmarried women) . Mrs ( for married women) 5. Controlled practice - Ask Ss to adopt the roles of Ba and Lan to practice the dialogue 6. Free practice - Show the two pictures p.12 (part 6) to Ss and ask them to play the roles to make similar dialogues. - Get Ss to practice more freely about themselves in pairs.
