Usually iPhone can be hung cable or hung apple or sticked-on DFU mode

Sequencing restore iPhone by iTunes:

Explain the Errors when restore iPhone by iTunes:

1 The stage before step 1, iTunes reports

- Error: 2003 or 2005 → cause: can be the cable runs program

- Error: 4004 or 4005 → cause: can be the computer

- Error: 3004 → cause: can be the internet

- Error: 3194 → cause: can be the last version

 The Screen don't appear the apple yet, iTunes reports error 4013 or

4014 → cause: The AP part can be crossed down GND or 2-layers IC or

HDD Error Usually when iPhone is processed iCloud, 2-layers IC or

HDD will be easy crossed down GND

Voltage (Check! The voltages supply for 2-layers IC)

2 Step 1, iTunes reports

- Error: 4013 or 4014 → cause: 2-layers IC (often is Flash) or HDD die

- Error: 9, 40, 21… → cause: can be HDD HDD can fix by external Tool

- Error: 9 → cause: can be HDD - Broken the circuit from HDD to 2-layers

4 The stage between step 1 and step 2

- Error Baseband: 1, 3, 16, 27, 29, 3194 → cause: can’t enough voltage

or passed to down GND or the components of Baseband error

- Error: 1, 3, 6 → cause: can be CPU or crossed down GND or no enough

voltage

- Error: 27 → cause: can be CPU and Flash of Baseband no SYNC

- Error: 29 → cause: can be Battery or Board (broken the circuits at the

pins of Battery)

- Error: 3194 (often is iP4) → cause: can’t synchronize the between CPU

and Flash or is CPU 8824

 Solution 1: connected L2_RF to GND after restore iPhone, waiting for iTunes runs to “waiting for iPhone”, interrupt the connector from L2_RF to GND The purpose don’t synchronize Baseband part

 Solution 2: isolated L2_RF after restore When the restore has

finished, reattaches L2_RF

C THE PANs OFTEN SEE AT IPHONE

1 With the machine is damaged after the process used It can be said, the main cause is due the water vapour or dust or using a function too more or the machine has come the old age

- Ear/ Ring/ Mic: The sound emits lowly or don’t right or die

 Solutoin: clear or replace

- Home/ Power/ Volume/ Mute Button: The Button doesn’t act or acts hardly

2 With the machine has been fallen and shocked

- Fallen weakly: in this case, often it will be damaged the peripheral

functions Such as broken glasses or touchscreen, damaged the frame

 Damaged glasses or touchscreen, the simplest method is to replace

a new screen

 With iPhone 4 and 4s, can remake both

 However with iPhone 5 or higher can remake glasses if the touchscreen is good

 Damaged the frame (with the last models as 3G, 3Gs can be broken case)

 Replace or remake frame/ case

- Fallen strongly: in this case, the machine can be damaged hardly The mainboard can be flexed However, We can use iPhone sticked-on iCloud

c L6_AP: This is the inductor in LED line of LCD, often cause the PAN no Light LCD

 No_all, lost network, doesn’t receive SIM

 Was fallen in the water

 lost Wi-Fi (the function switch-on Wi-Fi in iPhone is opaque), signal of Wi-Fi is low

a Cause: error Wi-Fi part

b Solution: measure the voltages supply for Wi-Fi part (check XW18_RF), remake or replace Wi-Fi IC, or check the small components around Wi-Fi IC such as: L15_RF, L20_RF

 The Battery is downed quickly, the Vbatt line is crossed down GND, the machine die:

a Cause: Power IC of AP, the capacitor in the Vbatt line, Wi-Fi

 Error Audio part and the machine is hung lowly

a Cause: Can be R89_AP or the components around Audio IC or Audio IC

 Damaged after the process used

 Error: U62_AP (Control Audio IC), 2-layers IC, Q2_AP, Sticked_on iCloud, the machine is locked (the machine doesn’t process yet)

» Solution: remake U62_AP In the processs can affect to U60 at behind, A4-pair, or the components around A4-pair (lost R53 no Audio, lost R80 and R36 cause Mic and Ear don’t act when calling, lost R88 cause power-on failure)

b 2-layers IC: often see at the first iPhone 4, now is very rare

» Solution: check the curcuits at socket of LCD relate to FL3, FL4 (the LED line), FL7 (the line supply voltage for LCD), replace socket of LCD

b lost Wi-Fi (the function switches-on Wi-Fi in iPhone is opaque), signal of Wi-Fi is low

» Solution: measure the voltages supply for Wi-Fi part (check XW29_RF, L21 _RF), remake or replace Wi-Fi IC, or check the small components around Wi-Fi IC

c Lost the LED _Flash or lights weakly, the machine doesn’t act but if plugged charger, it can act (this case also can meet, If the Vbatt line in the RF part was crossed down GND)

- iP4s

 Damaged after the process used

 Error: Wi-Fi, the Battery was the quick loss and the hot machine, No-all (no IMEI), power-on failure due the voltages was crossed down GND

a lost Wi-Fi (the function switch-on Wi-Fi in iPhone is opaque), signal of Wi-Fi is low

» Solution: measure the voltages supply for Wi-Fi part (check XW6_RF), replace Wi-Fi IC, or check the small components around Wi-Fi IC (R46, R47, R106 R108_RF)

Note! The process can affect to other functions as:

» Solution: often was crossed down GND in the voltage lines: Vcc_main, PP1V8, PP1V2_CPU/ SOC, PP3V0_USB

Searched the voltage line was crossed down GND after isolate the capacitors and ICs in this line

 No network, No all, don’t act Mic and Ear while calling, doesn’t receive SIM

a Cause: opened the pins of CPU

b Solution: the machine doesn’t have the network, check IMEI and reports for customer Remake CPU or give to other

a Cause: C7_RF , C8_RF, U9_RF (supply voltage for RF Part)
