Rationale Currently, English is the language popular used in international transactions. This is also the most foreign language taught at universities in Vietnam until today. Many students had found the need to learn English to meet the necessary of a modern society. However, mastering English grammar is not a simple task. Among the 4 basic skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, students often having difficulties in Writing skills, especially for amateur students in their final year when their vocabulary and language knowledge are limited. Therefore, students can hardly avoid mistakes when writing even when they are paying attention to their writting. Within the scope of this research, the author will indicate and analyse the causes of errors that students or acquired when writing. The author please give a few suggestions on corrective measures to help students avoid making mistakes when learning writing skills. 2. Aims of the Study Research and evaluation of student status is not graduated because of their writing skills Give a few solutions to improve writing skills for students 3. Research Questions What are some basic grammar mistakes that students often make? What are the causes for these errors? 4.
