3 THE PASSIVE AND ACTIVE SENTENCES QUAN SÁT:
Câu chủ động: (Active sentence) Mr Smith teaches English.
Câu bị động: (Passive sentence) English is taught by Mr Smith
QUY TẮC:
Muốn chuyển một câu chủ động sang câu bị động, ta thực hiện các bước sau:
1/ Tân ngữ chủ động > chủ ngữ bị động.
2/ Động từ bị động:
4 CLAUSES OF CONDITION 1/ "Clause of condition" là mệnh đề phụ chỉ điều kiện Nó được nối với mệnh đề chính bởi liên
từ IF nên còn được gọi là "IF - CLAUSE", và câu có mệnh đề điều kiện được gọi là
"Conditional Sentence" (câu điều kiện)

Mệnh đề điều kiện cĩ thể đứng trước hoặc sau mệnh đề chính.
2/ Trong mệnh đề điều kiện, ta cĩ thể thay liên từ "IF" bằng "UNLESS" (nếu khơng, trừ
phi) Unless tương đương với "IF NOT".
