For removal of Spiral Cable and AirBag Module, see RS section.¼ Do not use electrical test equipment on any circuit related to the SRS unless instructed to in thisService Manual. Spiral cable and wiring harnesses (except “SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER”) cov-ered with yellow insulation, either just before the harness connectors or for the complete harness, are related to the SRS.Wiring Diagrams and Trouble DiagnosisNGEL0002When you read wiring diagrams, refer to the following:¼ GI-10, “HOW TO READ WIRING DIAGRAMS”¼ EL-9, “POWER SUPPLY ROUTING” for power distribution circuit. When you perform trouble diagnosis, refer to the following:¼ GI-34, “HOW TO FOLLOW TEST GROUP IN TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS”.¼ GI-23, “HOW TO PERFORM EFFICIENT DIAGNOSIS FOR AN ELECTRICAL INCIDENT”.Check for any Service bulletins before servicing the vehicle.PRECAUTIONSSupplemental Restraint System (SRS) “AIR BAG” and “SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER”EL-4 DescriptionNGEL0003HARNESS CONNECTOR (TAB-LOCKING TYPE)NGEL0003S01¼ The tab-locking type connectors help prevent accidental looseness or disconnection.¼ The tab-locking type connectors are disconnected by pushing or lifting the locking tab(s).
