LESSON (Part 1-2-3) I.Aims: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Ss will be able to ask and answer questions about directions (Strong Ss can speak fluently, pronounce and remember the words well Weak Ss can speak the dialogue and model sentences) Teacher: Nguyen Thi Cam Nhung THANH THUY Primary School Lesson Plan English School Year: 2016-2017 -Ss will be able to develop their speaking, reading, writing and listening skills II.Languages focus: Vocabulary: bus stop, post office, museum, theatre, phramacy, next to, opposite, between, on the corner Sentence patterns: Excuse me, where’s the ? It’s III Teaching aids: Text book, Picture, cassette, workbook …… IV Procedure: A Warm up (5ms) - Greeting - Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons B New lesson Look, listen and repeat (8ms) - Ask Ss to open the Student’s Book on Page 40 and look at the pictures in part - Ask some eliciting questions to help Ss guess what they will learn in the dialogue - Ask Ss to look at the dialogue in the Student Book, listen to the recording of the dialogues - Play the recording and ask Ss to listen to the tape twice - Ask Ss to listen and repeat in chorus three times - Divide the class into groups, one group repeats Akiko’s part and another one repeats the rest part Then change the roles - Listen and give feedback Point and say (12ms) - Have Ss look at the pictures in part on page 40 - Present the new words by using different techniques + post office: bưu điện Teacher: Nguyen Thi Cam Nhung THANH THUY Primary School Lesson Plan English School Year: 2016-2017 + bus stop: trạm xe buýt + pharmacy: hiệu thuốc + theatre: rập chiếu phim + museum: viện bảo tàng + next to: bên cạnh + opposite: đối diện + between: + on the corner: gốc (phố, đường) - After eliciting each word, T models times and gets Ss to choral Then, T calls Ss to repeat individually - Ask Ss to copy down those words in their notebooks - Present the way to ask and answer questions about directions Excuse me, where’s the ? LESSON (Part 4-5-6) I.Aims: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Ss will be able to ask and answer questions about directions - Ss will be able to listen for specific information -Ss will be able to develop their speaking, reading, writing and listening skills II.Languages focus: Sentence patterns: Excuse me, where’s the ?
