Chapter - participal adjectives (Adjs ending in “ed” and “ing”) Hình thức phân từ động từ (present participal:-ing/ past participla:-ed) dùng tính từ Có rát nhiều tính từ thành lập theo cách nói - - - amused/ amusing(thích thú, thú vị) embarrassed/ embarrassing(bối rối, ngượng) annoyed/ annoying(bực mình, phiền phức) astonished/ astonishing(ngạc nhiên) - amazed/ amazing(ngạc nhiên) - excited/ exciting(hấp dẫn, sôi nổi) - shocked/ shocking(bị sửng sốt, gây sửng sốt) - surprised/ suprising(ngạc nhiên) - worried/ worring(lo âu) - depressed/ depressing(nản lòng, buồn phiền) bored/ boring(chán nản) interested/ interesting(quan tâm/ thích thú) disgusted/ disgusting(gớm/ghê tởm) Tính từ tận “ed” mang nghĩa bị động thường dùng mẫu câu S – V – C với chủ ngữ danh từ hay đại từ người (verbs:tobe, look, seem, feel, get, sound…) Tính từ tận băng “ing” mang nghĩa chủ động thường kết hợp với chủ ngữ vật đại từ vô nhân xưng số Ex: I feel tired/bored because my job is boring/tiring Những tính từ tận bàng “ing” thường thấy cấu trúc sau: Something + be/ look/ get + “-ing adjs” Ex: The result was disappointing It is/ was + “-ing adjs” + to infinitive / that + s + v Ex: It is interesting to read this story It was suprising that he passed the examination Someone + find + someone/ something + “-ing adjs” Ex: I find my new boss very interesting Many people find this book interesting I am (interest) in learning English It is (interest) to play soccer This day is (bore) So I feel (bore) I am (tire) because I have to (tire) job I was (shock) because of her behaviour
