( Two student books and two exercise books) • Each student book has 10 units. After 5 units has a review. • Each unit has 3 lessons • Each lesson has 4- 5 parts • Prepare for the academic year. Knowledge. - By the end of this lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about where some is from. 2. Skills: Develop listening and speaking skills . 3. Language focus: + Structure: A: Where’s he from? B: He’s from Malaysia. A: Where in Malaysia is he from? B: Kuala Lumpur. + Vocabulary: summer, camp, different, country( countries), Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur , Thailand – Bangkok, the USA – New York, Indonesia - Jakarta 4. Education. - Educate ss love their lesson II. TEACHING AIDS 1. Teacher: student’s and teacher’s book, word cards, pictures, tape, cassette, puppets. 2. Students: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. TEACHING METHODS. - Communicative approach. - Techniques: + Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups. + Discuss. IV. PROCEDURE. Say: “These children are at a summer camp in Vietnam. (point to picture) - Ask Ss some questions: Who are they? He’s from Malaysia Where in Malaysia is he from? Kuala Lumpur - Call on some pairs to perform the task at the front of the class. Others observe & comment. - Ask Sts to ask and answer with each picture about the country & city where each character comes from. - Have the whole class repeat all the phrases to reinforce their pronunciation. 4.
