Objectives: *Competences: Ss will be able to ask for and telling the age of family members. - Write short sentences about their friends (his/ her name, age) *Skills: 4 skills. II. Language contents: 1. Vocabs: - numbers 2. Structure: - What is his / her name? - How old is he / she? + His/ her name is …… + He / She is ……. IIi. Teaching aids: - Student’s book and work book. - Small board, Flash cards. IV. Procedure: Activities Content 1.Organization: * Sing a song to stabilize class.  Ten litte Indians 2.Check up: - Let ss complete the Crossword Puzzle to revise the numbers. in groups ( using A4, then stick on board) - T gives questions to asks for the name and age of some ss & their friends. B6 . Let’s play. Crossword Puzzle 10 3 t e 9 n i n u m 6 b 7 s e v e n 2 i r 4 - Ss read loudly to the whole class and match, T & others comment and correct. 3.New lesson: B4. Read and match. - Let ss do in pairs. B5. Let’s write. Write about your friend - T lets ss say before writing.( or may give question to guide.) Ex: What’s his / her name? How old is he / she? - Ss answer and write. - Asks ss to say loudly the result then write on board. Keys: 1. two, 2 four, 3 five, 4 ten, 5seven, 6six, 7 nine, 8 eight. B7. Summary 4.Consolidation: - Ss repeat the content of the lesson. T summarises the content of Unit 8. - Ss write the lesson . 5. Home work: - Read the lesson again, - write the new words. - Do exercise 9, 10 (38) - Pre – read B 4 -> B7 x s 5 f o u r B4. Read and match. Keys: 1b 2a. Procedure: Activities Content 1.Organization: * Sing a song to stabilize class. the way to school. 2.Check up: * Checking the old lesson. Chatting. Let ss answer T’s questions. - How are you? What’s your name? A1 . Look, listen & repeat. * Vocabs: + House + Livingroom: How old are you? Then change persons: She, He to ask & give marks. 3. New lesson: A1 . Look, listen & repeat. - T introduces the Unit 9: My house. Today we’ll know the rooms in the house in English. Look, listen & repeat. - T gives vocabs & lets ss chorus. - How does Nam introduce his livingroom & bedroom. + Ss say loudly the sentences. T writes on board. A2. Look and say - Now look & say. ( T does a model and then asks ss to continue…) + Ss point the picture and say to the whole class ( 8 ss) A3. Let’s talk - T elicits ss point the picture and say the sentences to the whole class. Comment & correct - T prepares this exercise on EB & asks ss to circle. Comment & correct. - T prepares pictures & cards on board, Ss come to match. Comment & correct. 4.Consolidation: - Ss repeat the content of the lesson, T summaries and gives task. 5.Home work: - Read the lesson again, - write the new words. + Bedroom: + Kitchen: + Bathroom: * Struc: - This is the livingroom. - That is my bedroom.
