TEACHING DATE: REVISION 1. Objectives: * By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand how to use present simple tense, Present progressive tense and complete some sentences. 2. Procedures: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Contents • Warm up : - (T) divides class into groups to look at the pictures and guess what they are. - Ask Ss some questions. • Activity 1 : Listen and practise: - (T) explains some vocabularies and asks Ss to guess the meaning of it. - Ask Ss to listen the dialogue of Ba, Nga, Hoa and dialogue of Hoa , Nam. What do you do during your summer vacation ? What do you say to your friends when you first meet ? • New words: Nice to see/ meet you So am I classmate Ask Ss to listen the tape and repeat in each sentence. Ask Ss to discuss in group to read the dialogue. Call a group of three student to play a role. Ask Ss to discuss and answer some questions Call Ss to ask and answer them and then write it on the black board. • Activity 2: Practicing greetings - (T) asks Ss to look at the picture and asks Ss some questions . - Ask Ss to listen to the tape in the first time. - (T) explains difference : Goodmorning, Goodafternoon, Goodevening. Ask Ss to listen twice and repeat. - T) calls each pair of Ss topractise the dialogue.
