Pre- listening : * Set the scene : You are going to listen to a passage about some students' activities at recess. The students are Mai, Kien, Lan and Ba. 3 * Open prediction : Matching : -T writes down the four names and four activities on the b.b and does the modelling. Mai : playing catch Kien : playing marbles Lan : skipping rope Ba : playing blindman's bluff - S s discuss in groups of eight and match each name with each activity. - T collects S s' predictions. 2. While- listening : - T plays the tape ( 2 times ). S s listen and check their predictions. - T gets feedback from S s . - T lets S s listen to the tape one more time and gives the correct answers.
