Clap the syllables. - Play the recording again for pupils to repeat each line of the chant and clap the syllables. - Call on a pair to the front of the class, have one pupil repeat each line of the chant, and the other clap the syllables. Repeat the step but this time the pairs swap their parts. - Groupwork. Pupils practise saying the chant and clapping the syllables in groups. Monitor the activity and offer help.
