Objectives By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about their daily routines by learning a typical day of a farmer. III. Materials Textbook, pictures about farmers and field work IV. Question 2: What do you do after getting up? Question 3: Do you have breakfast at home or outside? I. Pre- reading • Vocabulary - To plough (v): to turn up the soil: cay - To harrow (v): to break the soil: bua - Plot of pland: mieng dat, manh roung - Peasant (n): farmer: nong dan - Local tobacco (n): thuoc la dia phuong - To take a short rest: nghi giai lao ngan - To pump (water) into (v): bom (nuoc vao) - To transplant (v): cay, trong - Crop (n): vu mua - To chat (v): to talk friendly: tro chuyen than mat • Practice the pronunciation T: Ask students to work in pair Tell them to ask and answer about their daily routines by using the cues Go around, check their voc., pro., and grammar stucture if there’s necessary S: Pair work T: Give out some new words Elicit them by mine, explain, synonym, translation Read them one by one S: Guess the new words’ meaning Repeat them loudly S: Read the new words louly in front of class 7’ 12’ II.
