Teaching aids: Pictures ,cassette player , objects D. Procedures: Teacher’s and students’ activities Contents T asks St some questions Sts listen and answer them T gives the examples and explains the new structures of the present progressive tense. T introduces the situation of the lesson T uses the picture to introduce the new words. T writes the words on the board. T reads them, Sts listen and repeat. Sts read the words again, T follows and corrects. Sts listen to the tape Sts listen and repeat after the tape T asks Sts some questions Sts look at the pictures and answer them T asks Sts to look at and describe the pictures in part 1 again I. Warm up: How do you go to school? How does your mother / father go to work? II. New lesson: 1/ Listen and repeat. a . Pre- listening: Ex: What are you doing? I am doing the homework.
