1 Warm up(5’)

- Introduces the topic of the lesson

- Shows the picture and asks Ss where these

places are

- Asks Ss to match the names of these famous

world landmarks to the correct picture

- T explains quickly about these places

- Asks Ss to tell some other names of the

famous places in the world

2 Presentation(10’).

- Asks Ss some questions:

+ Do you like playing games?

+ What games do you often play?

- T introduces the situation of the dialogue:

“Nga, Nhi and Hoa are playing a language

game Listen to the dialogue and find out

the game, the rules of the game”

- Plays the tape, Ss listen and find newwords

- Guides Ss to read newwords

- Explains the structure

- Guides Ss to make sentences

3 Practice(20 ’ ):

- Plays the tape, Ss listen and repeat

- Read in groups of three (2’)

- Grammar: Indirect questions with If and whether Review reported speech

My class has just come back from a trip to Phong Nha cave, a World Heritage Site in central Viet nam It s about 500 km from Hanoi

and it s took us 10 hours to get there by train.

We stayed in a hotel near the cave The next day , we did lots of things, visited many places but

we enjoyed the Big Cave most, we took many photos
