1 ABSTRACT

Time is a rare resource, it goes by very quickly in the blink of an eye So you need to know how to manage your time properly Your day will be very busy so you must know how to manage your time properly so as not to waste them

In your life, you must organize yourself to arrange the work you need to do in the most reasonable way so as not to waste time passing Through the following essay, you will know how to best manage your time

2 INTRODUCTION

You need to know and analyze how your time is currently used With young people today, most of the time that you use the most is for going out, shopping, and drinking with friends Are you wasting your time on such useless things? Most students have to retake the subject because they don't know how to manage their time, because they spend too much time on unnecessary things, so they can't balance their studies and playing Many students have said: "If only time could turn back", but not time just runs forever but never stops

When we are in this world, every second that passes will never come back A day will always have 24 hours, a week will always have 7 days and a year will always have 365 days Your living days will pass so quickly that you will never get them back So before you do something, think carefully, arrange the work in detail, and carefully avoid consequences later But to be able to manage time in such a reasonable way, you need to really focus and devote yourself to it so that you can do it

Everyone has to have the focus to be effective, and save a lot of time If you Knowing how to manage your time, will help you with many things such as your life will become easier, you will be less stressed, increase you have joy in life, and increase more private time for you For us, students, arranging our desks is also a way to help manage our time, because a tidy desk means we won't have to waste time looking for what we need When you don't manage your time you will get in trouble that you don't want, you will

3.1 Time management

3.1.1 Definition of Time management

Time management is the coordination of tasks and activities to maximize the effectiveness of an individual's efforts Essentially, the purpose of time management is to enable people to get more and better work done in less time

Elements include organization, planning, and scheduling best to take advantage of the time available to the individual, while also taking into account that individual's particular situation and relevant characteristics

3.1.2 Misconceptions about time management

3.1.2.1 Procrastinating

At times, stepping away from a task can be beneficial for clarity But procrastination at its core is avoidance, not creation or advancement Procrastination can happen when we’re

unsure of our next steps or when we're afraid of failing at something new They can

manifest in the form of anxiety, depression, dejection, low self-esteem, and more

3.1.2.2 Failing to Prioritize Time is a precious resource that must be spent accordingly, and that means prioritizing Employees may fail to prioritize because of alack of knowledge on how to assign value to tasks Or it could be a product of unclear priorities from managers, directors, and senior executives Learning new time management systems can help employees evaluate tasks and better prioritize

3.1.2.3 Managing Distractions Whether it’s a coworker dropping by our desk at the office or into our DMs as we work from home, distractions from others are common This means, out of all the time management mistakes, this can be the most difficult to correct Employees can’t control

when notifications pop up on their phones or when others send them emails or messages What we can learn to control is our behavioral response to each di straction as it pops up

3.1.2.4 Improper Planning Have you ever agreed to a deadline only to find that the project required twice as much work as you anticipated? Improper planning can hit anyone and derail us from better time management Improper planning is also tied to poor goal-setting practices

3.1.2.5 Overcommitting There’s a lot to be said for the opportunities we open ourselves to by saying “yes.”

There’s also a lot of trouble we can get into when we say yes to too many things and

overcommit ourselves Employees with high intrinsic motivation tend to take on extra work and can become burnt out from it When we juggle too many balls, we are bound to lose track of some and that could bring the whole act tumbling down

More workers are becoming burnt out than ever before A sour or defeated attitude in the morning can become progressively worse as the challenges of the day come along When we’re emotional, our brains are less able to focus on the task at hand Harvard Business Review confirms with a decade of findings that a bad attitude can directly affect aspects such as financial performance and absenteeism

3.1.2.7 Multitasking Years of research studies have proven time and again that multitasking is not an efficient use of our time By separating our attention, tasks take longer, we lose focus, and we make more mistakes than we would if we were concentrating on one thing

3.1.2.8 Uncoordinated Networking When projects require complicated networks of people each responsible for various interlocking pieces, there can be a breakdown in coordination Employees will be forced

to waste time if the person with the step before them has yet to complete their work Assembly lines need to work efficiently, and this means having the correct people in each stage of the project

Concentration is a great way to not waste time When doing something, you should focus all your energy and wisdom on the work, that not only brings high work results but also helps you save time and arrange a time for work other To save time, you should set a specific time for each task such as determining the start time, the time for each step, the end time, and the total time to complete the job long

Then you will have a detailed plan and specific time, not be afraid of affecting the work results, and not wasting precious time We should create for ourselves the most necessary and meaningful valuable times, which not only leave us with valuable life experiences but also create meaningful things give more meaning to their own life and become useful people for society
