A GRAMMAR:

I Simple Present (Hiện tại đơn):

+ KĐ: I, We, You, They + V-inf

He, she, it + Vs/es

- PĐ: I, we, you, they +do not/don’t +V-inf

He, she, it + does not/doesn’t +V-inf

Lưu ý: Ta thêm "es" sau các động từ tận cùng là : O, S, SS, X, CH, SH, Z

Cách đọc đuôi “S” của động từ khi chủ ngữ là ngôi thứ 3, số ít:

1 Đọc là /S/ khi động từ tận cùng là các âm : /f/, /t/, /k/, /p/…

Ex: laughs; works; stops; wants…

2 Đọc là /IZ/ khi động từ tận cùng là các âm: /ss/, /sh/, /zz/, /x/, /z/, /se/, /ce/, /ch/…

Ex: buzzes, washes, kisses, loses, watches, …

3 Đọc là /Z/ đối với các động từ còn lại:

Ex: goes, buys, comes, sees, saves, plays…

* Adverbs of frequency: Always, ussually, often, sometimes, rarely, never

+ Vị trí đứng sau động từ tobe, đứng trước động từ thường

* Phân biệt 4 động từ: play, do, have and study.

- Play: chơi môn thể thao có dụng cụ: Play football, volleyball…

- Do: đi với môn thể thao không có dụng cụ: Do judo, do yoga…

- Study: học môn học nào đó: study English…

- Have: có… have lessons, have school lucch…

II Present continuous (Hiện tại tiếp diễn):

He, she, it + is + Ving

We, you, they + are + Ving

- PĐ: S + am/is/are + not + V-ing

? NV: Am/ is/ are + S + V-ing?

What/when/how/… + Am/ is/ are + S + V-ing ?

 Diễn tả một h/đ đang diễn ra tại thời điểm (đang nói) hay việc mà ta đã sắp xếp

để thực hiện trong tương lai

 Các phó từ thường dùng là : At the moment, at present, now, right now, Look!, Listen …

 Lưu ý: Không dùng thì HTTD với các động từ chỉ nhận thức, tri giác như: To be; see, hear, understand, know, like, want, feel, smell, glance, love, hate, realize, seem, forget, remember…Với các động từ này, ta thay bằng thì HTĐ

Ex: We are very tired now.

III Prepositions of place : on ( ở trên) , in(ở trong) , next to (bên cạnh),

between…….and (giữa ) , in front of (trước) , behind (sau) , opposite ( đối diện)

Ex: The cat is on the table.

The school bag is under the bed.

IV Comparative adjectives (So sánh hơn của tính từ):

a) Tính từ ngắn (là những từ 1 âm tiết, nếu 2 âm tiết thì tận cùng là “y” )

S1 + be (am/is/are) + tính từ ngắn - er + than + S2

Ex: She is shorter than me/ I am

b) Tính từ dài: tính từ có 2 âm tiết trở lên

S1 + be(am/is/are) + more + tính từ dài+ than + S2

Ex : She is more beautiful than me/ I am

V Suggestions:

=> Shall we + V-inf?

=> Why don’t we + V-inf?

=> Let’s + V-inf

=> How/ what about + V-ing?

Agree: That’s fine/That’s a good idea/ Sure

VI Countable and uncountable nouns/ must and mustn’t/ should and shouldn’t/ a few and a little/ many and much/ some and any/ possessive case
