2.3 Factors impact on fashion industry

2.3.1 Political influence

Politics has played a central role in the development of fashion.

First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy was a fashion icon of the early 1960s because she led the trend of formal dress Kennedy helps women change their look and fashion sense in a more modern direction, no longer confined to formal dresses or overly styled hairstyles As fashion historian Valerie Steele once said, "She used the modernity of fashion to say that her government was young, very modern, and a thought leader."

The political revolution also has a great impact on fashion trends

In 1940, during the Second World War, many countries experienced a recession People had less money to spend and women started to use shorter skirts and less clothes because it was cheaper During this period, leather jackets and t-shirts became very popular

Furthermore, the political movement has built an impressive relationship with fashion trends.

During the Vietnam War, young Americans created a movement that influenced the whole A fashion trend filled with fluorescent colors, prints, fringe vests and skirts became the 1960s protest wear In the mid-1960s in the United States, the rebel elements in San Francisco made a powerful and resounding revolution, bringing a new step to the modern fashion scene: the hippie style The different styles in the costumes make people feel weird, even unusual, but have a liberal and free-flowing character And this style is still influencing current fashion trends

As fashion constantly changes, designers keep up with the trends, modify designs, and choose fabrics, colors, and textures to adapt to a certain culture (or trend) at the same time The change in fashion is always renewed through each era, but those who imitate the way of dressing of their predecessors also never lose their own inherent identity, still keeping the original style and foundation, always exuding the beauty of humans Thereby,
