UNIT 7: TELEVISION Period 59- Lesson 5: Skills I OBJECTIVES: Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students can: - Extend vocabularies and phrases related to the topic “Television” Read for general and specific information about a TV guide Talk about their favorite programs Character qualities: Ss will be more aware of spending time watching TV, and choose the best programmes for themselves Competencies: Ss will be able to - Write the new words - Talk about two famous TV programmes for children again New lesson: 1.Warm-up * Aim: To introduce the topic of reading - T asks Ss to look at the pictures and answer the questions 1/ What are the pictures about? 2/ What channel is it? 3/ What time are these programmes on? -
