deregulated energ y market communications The principal obj ective of the I EC 62325 series is to produce standards which facilitate the integration of m arket application software developed independentl y by different vendors into a market m anagem ent system, between market management system s and m arket participant system s This is accom plished by defining message exchanges to enable these applications or systems access to public data and exchange information independent of how such information is represented internall y The com mon inform ation m odel (CI M) specifies the basis for the sem antics for this m essage exchange The European style m arket profile (ESMP) is based on different parts of the CI M I EC standard The CI M is defined through a series of standards, i e I EC 62325-301 , I EC 61 970301 and I EC 61 968-1 This document provides the settlem ent and reconciliation business process that can be used throughout a European style m arket This stand ard was originall y based upon the work of the European Transmission System Operators (ETSO) Task Force EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and then on the work of the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) Working Group EDI This docum ent describes the settlement and reconciliation process for wholesale markets; it is brought to the attention of the reader that it is envisaged to initiate work on a com bined reconciliation process for retail and wholesale markets – 48 – I EC 62325-451 -4: 201 © I EC 201 Table 69 – Attributes of ESM PDataTypes: : YM DHM _DateTime mult Attribute
