d’emballage contre les ESD 6.1 Généralités Les matériaux et em ballages utiles pour prévenir des dom mages sur des dispositifs électroniques sensibles présentent certaines propriétés Ces propriétés sont les suivantes: a) propriétés de résistance: – conducteurs; – dissipatifs; b) propriétés de blindage: – contre les décharges électrostatiques; – contre les cham ps électrostatiques 6.2 6.2.1 Propriétés des matériaux liées la résistance Généralités La plupart des m atériaux d’em ballage d’usage courant sont des isolants électriques et les matériaux isolants conservent la charge Le fait de rendre l’em ballage m oins isolant fournit un chemin pour dissiper la charge de l’em ballage vers un matériau potentiel inférieur Des gammes spécifiques de résistance sont utiles différents titres L’emballage peut être classé selon lesdites gamm es de résistance du m atériau dans sa construction 6.2.2 Résistance des matériaux condu cteu rs Des m atériaux conducteurs peuvent être conducteurs en surface, conducteurs volum iques ou les deux la fois a) Matériaux conducteurs en surface Un m atériau conducteur en surface doit avoir une résistance superficielle
