Vietnamese who can speak English fluently is not very great According to this viewpoint, they tend to focus too much on grammar and are therefore unable to reflect or interact with foreigners Being conscious of the importance of English in business, I made the decision to work for the V.C.P VIET NAM CLEAN POWER JOINT STOCK COMPANY I made the decision to pick this organization as my internship people (corresponding to a decrease of 13.33%) in 2021 compared to 2020; 2022 has no change compared to 2021 - College level: increase by people (corresponding to an increase of 40%) in 2021 compared to 2020; in 2022, there will be a decrease of person (corresponding to a decrease of 7.14%) compared to 2021 - Meanwhile, employees at the intermediate professional level and other qualifications have generally increased over the past years It is clear that when V.C.P., JSC enters a period of stable business together with business expansion, there is a strong need for hiring sales staff As a profit, and expenses, all of which have tended to rise over the last three years According to the aforementioned information, the company's total income in 2021 will expand by VND 3,559,870, or 20.78%, and in 2022, it will increase by VND 1,392,920, or 6.73% As a result, the company's revenue is expected to expand between 2020 and 2022, with a gradual increase in growth rate This shows that the business is moving forward for the organization In comparison to 2020, the cost of goods sold increased by 11.5% in 2021; however, the COGS growth rate was slower than the revenue growth rate This demonstrates the reduction in the company's sales and production costs The market is becoming more competitive, so the company must invest in more up-todate machinery, equipment, and warehouses to aid in conducting business, consuming goods, and improving product quality However, in 2022, the rate of increase in the cost of goods sold will be roughly equal to the rate of growth in revenue The goal for the company's gross profit is rising daily The growth rate, nevertheless, fluctuates The company's executives must develop strategies to encourage consumer spending on goods In 2021, selling expenses climbed by 33.37%, but by 2022, they had dramatically increased to 55.97% This demonstrates that the corporation has increased the volume of its construction projects in order to offer more translation for two different purposes: email translation and document translation between two languages - Translating emails related to the description of products, imports, and exports of materials, tools, spare parts, and goods in the sector of renewable energy, primarily solar power More frequently, the English-Vietnamese translation is used Each email is typically two pages long - We must be responsible for our translations because the administrator will receive translated documents and thoroughly review them - Because construction requirements are involved, translating documents is trickier than translating emails To comprehend and gather data for new legislation on global trade conditions in import, all documents will be translated from English into Vietnamese Approximately ten to twenty pages long As instructed, this assignment must be completed on time 2.1.2 Write and reply to emails and letters from partners - These emails are business inquiry letters, quotation letters, order letters, and complaint letters - Writing emails to suppliers in accordance with the aforementioned email or letter is typically done after looking for high-quality products that meet the needs of the firm on e-commerce websites There are two different kinds of letters of inquiry that are addressed to clients who have questions The mail will first be delivered to V.C.P.'s own mailbox, where we will attend to and respond to the specific needs of consumers and their capacities The second is that mail queries are delivered as spam, in which the sender concurrently sends many messages to various providers at the same time, and these communications answer with extremely specific material and aggressive quotes If the customer's response continues, we will first provide further information or have a direct discussion 2.1.3 Making daily report - Each intern is required to create their own report using the company's Google Drive sheet after a single day of work Each person will have a unique Excellike sheet to fill out with their tasks and an account to access - The management and Director will be able to effortlessly control the KPI of each team and employee in the organization with the help of this tool 2.2 Difficulties and lessons learned during the internship at the Marketing Department of V.C.P Vietnam Clean Power Joint Stock Company 2.2.1 Difficulties - Translation: Despite the fact that studied the fundamentals of translation and interpretation while a student at the University of Commerce, I lacked actual experience, which caused me a lot of problems when I began working in the Marketing division  It is important to note that all of the company's products are supplies, materials, goods, equipment, spare parts, and products in the power industry The clean power industry contains a lot of challenging technical jargon; solar energy is primarily renewable Energy-specific language is difficult to understand and necessitates expert knowledge The translator must keep an eye out for these terms when they are being translated  Additionally, as the foreigner's style differs significantly from that of the Vietnamese, we must choose the best translation for each version Furthermore, in order to have a smooth translation, we need to have some social understanding, therefore this is difficult for new students and interns - Write emails and messages from partners and reply to them: When responding to emails and letters from suppliers and customers, it is highly important to have a greater understanding of business correspondence It can be difficult to use a formal style of writing Particularly with regard to complaint emails, if they are not clarified and handled expertly, the relationship between the two parties is quite brittle For the organization to come out as professional, this task must always be accurate in both form and content - Making daily reports: The intern must recall every detail of the day's activities After the monthly review, particularly in terms of your progress, your work, of course, the entire team, and regards pay, you might make things difficult for your team if you can't report enough or are missing a few key details It's crucial to use caution - In addition to working in an environment that required a great level of flexibility, I had to put in a lot of effort to constantly watch and pick up the knowledge and skills of my forebears in order to gain some worthwhile experience Hence maximizing the value of this internship term 2.2.2 Experiences During nearly month of internship at V.C.P Vietnam., JSC, I have learned a lot of experience and skills for myself: - I was able to put the knowledge and abilities I learned in college to use during my internship (writing letters, emails, translating, etc.) - Acquire more practical information, and advance my soft skills, such as my capacity for communication and interaction with others, as well as my proficiency with office technology - Learn about the company's contemporary, and professional atmosphere as well as the office culture Develop solid relationships with partners and learn how to get along with other employees in the firm - I have gained a lot of knowledge about this major and my English language skills while translating about energy at V.C.P I also had the chance to study a new field I discovered that you should skim a document once or twice to acquire the concept before translating something, and then tie reality to the industry Then, to make sure you fully comprehend it as well as the precise terminology, conduct a thorough search by reading newspapers or related documents, watching the news on Vietnamese television, etc You'll be able to translate more quickly and grammatically correct and in the proper style CHAPTER 3: THE STATUS OF USING ENGLISH IN V.C.P VIETNAM CLEAN POWER JOINT STOCK COMPANY 3.1 The usage of English at work V.C.P Vietnam., JSC is a language Employees in the Marketing department, in particular, may have specific requirements for proficiency and fluency in English There are many positions in the marketing division that demand English, particularly in the import and export industries English is regarded as a crucial tool for discussions and agreements with international partners English has taken over as the primary language used for contract negotiations and communication with foreign nations The company has hired a sizable number of English-speaking employees who can communicate with international partners Since the marketing team members must a lot of paperwork, they need to be proficient in both writing and speaking English as well as in business correspondence and negotiation Additionally, only a small percentage of employees have good communication and writing skills in English The majority of them struggle to talk and write in English fluently; instead, they can only read and grasp certain English knowledge It will take a lot of time, and there will be challenges if there are unforeseen jobs in English 3.2 Suggestions to improve the efficiency of using English To meet the present demand, it is imperative that personnel improve their English Since then, the corporation has also needed to develop policies to enhance employees' knowledge of and proficiency in English Every employee must have a self-study mindset, work to improve their English, and understand the value of English since it affects not only their own lives but also the operations of the organization The corporation should actively create suitable conditions to supplement and develop employees' English skills with specialized training courses in addition to their own efforts and those of the employees The company's leadership needs to come up with a strategy to collaborate with various English centers to provide English courses that will help students and staff members become more fluent in the language English-language classes emphasize negotiating, email writing, and contract drafting The company ought to have a compensation system that includes things like bonuses for people who accomplish well, raises for skilled workers, and effective English usage at work Employees will be motivated and encouraged by this policy to work hard and develop their English To increase initiative and positivity in using English, the organization should set explicit requirements for English competence throughout the hiring process and routinely evaluate English proficiency In order to help employees, get more experience and expertise working with overseas partners, the company also should make it possible for them to take part in English-language experience-sharing seminars hosted by
