A number of foreign companies such as Sumitomo Corporation, Kumagai Gami Company (Japan), Vina-Debon (Korea) and Hasebe Bank provide scholarships to FTU students who have outstanding results in their studies - FTU has connections with a number of universities and colleges such as University of Hawaii, California State University at Riverside, University of Buffalo (USA); Osaka International University, Tokyo Keizai University, Kobe University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences (Japan); Bejing University of International Business and Economics (China); University of Tours (France); Bangkok University (Thailand); Aalborg University, Copenhagen Business School (Denmark); Cambridge University, Birmingham University (UK), etc These connections are reflected in the exchanges research/training programmes and lecturers/students of information, - FTU has connections with a number of international organizations such as UNDP; JICA, JOCV (Japan); VIA, ELI, ALI, REI (the USA); VVOB (Belgium); WUSC (Canada); OSB (Australia); DANIDA (Denmark); SIF (Singapore), mainly focusing on the exchanges of scholars and teachers 1.2 Organization Structure in FTU Research Competition” conducted annually by the MOET Over the last years, out of about 40 students’ research works submitted to this Competition, two have won First Prizes, seven have won Second Prizes, eight have won Third Prizes, and 23 have won Encouragement Prizes 1.5 FTU with International cooperation and projects International cooperation activities (ICD) of the school was further extended and deepened, many projects have been mined ICD to improve the qualifications of teaching staff, content innovation and development curriculum, consistent process of integration of higher education with the countries in the region and the world Thus, in the last stage, before the school's prestigious international partners has been significantly enhanced, opportunities for training and scientific research with the universities, the education and training facility in the world and in the growing area Starting from 2005, the number of partners from Europe, Australia and the Americas grew rapidly To date, the school's principal partners from the United States, Britain, France, Australia, Japan, Korea and China During this period, the University of Foreign Trade have the honor to welcome many senior leaders of the country to visit schools as Secretary of the US Secretary of State, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Minister of Japan strategy See In terms of quantity, if taken number of memoranda and cooperation agreements with universities and foreign institutions as a measure to expand the network of international cooperation of the University of Foreign Trade, you can see works International cooperation has developed very fast If in the period 2000-2004, each school year just concluded was from to memorandum and cooperation agreement, starting from 2005, the number of memorandums of understanding and agreements for international cooperation started increase By 2010, the 24 school has 121 cooperation agreements with major partners and prestigious in the world On the basis of international cooperation network was developed in both width and depth, the FTU took advantage of the opportunity to vigorously promote the cooperation in all fields including exchange student exchange, faculty exchange, organization of international scientific conferences, joint research, joint training Specifically, by 2010 nearly 30 schools have joint training program with an international element The training program typical patience of the school may be mentioned are: - Joint training program LLM International Business taught in French collaboration with the University of Synthesis Francois Rebelais Tours; - MSc in International Business taught in English, links with the University of Latrobe (Australia); - Programme MBA collaborative project with the University of Nantes (France); - MSc Economics Asia - Europe partnership with the University of Rennes 2; - Joint training programs bachelor and master's link with the University of Bedfordshire (UK); - Advanced Program in International Economics in collaboration with the University of Colorado (USA); - Advanced Program in International Business Administration in collaboration with California State University Fullerton (USA); - The MBA program in logistics with the Norwegian School of Business; - Training Cooperation Program 1.5 + BA with Aomori Chuo Gakuin University (Japan); - Curriculum Bachelor financial management and services with Niels Brock Copenhagen University Business College (Denmark) 25 Besides, the number of foreign students enrolled at the University of Foreign Trade is increasing in recent years At present there are 700 foreign students come from China, Laos, South Korea, France, Mongolia, Germany, etc 1.6 Material facilities The FTU has been trying relentlessly to build the school into an institution of higher education and postgraduate condition, including the area auditorium, high-rise work area, dormitories, canteens, sport centers, stadiums with many modern facilities The school has a green - clean - beautiful, civilized environment, professionally Moreover, the FTU has always focused investing activities and library information Since 2005, in addition to regularly supplement the printed materials, the Library is continuously investing in electronic documents Currently, the library has a document which is quite diverse, rich serve the training and research of the school Library IT applications in the operational activities of library and information search service to readers The document processing is applied according international business standards The manager you read and manage document circulation is done by e-library software and barcode systems Due to the mode of operation innovation should serve the effectiveness of information - Increasing the number of PhD, Associate professors, Professor; - Increasing the foreign – teaching staves; foreign professional; - Importing the advanced training program from prestigious universities in the world - Creating many exchange program for teaching staves & student with lower fee vi Quality of infrastructures, facilities 31  Campus - Conducting investment, upgrade and maintain program regularly for A, D, E, H, G, VJCC, canteen, student hostel Building - Rebuild B building consists of 15-storey including:  The lecture hall with modern infrastructures, facilities  Office for teaching staff ( departments Offices)  Library ( self-study room)  E-learning room  Physical education room  Equipment and Facilities Foreign Trade University will have big budget to get some more up-to-date equipment as well as facilities as bellows:  Modern computer system as well e-learning system  Modern air-conditioning system  Modern furniture system  Modern toilet  Free filtered water  Free & strong internet 32  Convenient website system vii Reform in administrative procedures, registration subject procedures  Administrative procedures - Conducting survey to evaluate satisfaction level of staves and student about administrative procedures - Realizing public and transparent way for all of administrative - Checking administrative procedures from all of department as well office and keeping it simple  Registration subject procedures - Applying internet system for registration procedures - Reducing some of stage which is not necessary - Increasing human resource who taking responsibility for registration subject procedures viii Operation Management  Arranging lecture hall - After rebuilding B Building and upgrading and maintaining for A, D, E, H, G, FTU will have more than lecture hall This is advantages for reducing overload lecture hall - Having a more suitable program to arranging lecture hall  Arranging course schedule - Creating more opportunity for student who can get their schedule is the most convenient for them - Arranging course schedule which convenient for the student's learning process, not disturb the student’s learning process - Arranging course schedule which is more convenient for time of students b The second Stage (2022-2027) This Stage still continue improving quality of training, quality of infrastructures, facilities and focus on expanding new branches in Da Nang and establish some of company affiliated FTU 33 c The third stage (2027-2032) -
