tr.55-70 THE APPLiCATION MICROBIAL PREPARATION (SAGI BIO) FOR CC SOLID WASTE OF PIG BREEDING Tang ThI Chlnh*, Dang Thi Mai Anh, Nguyeh Thi Hoa, Tran Van Tua Institute of Envimnmental Techndogy, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology SUMMARY Breeding cattle and poultry is an inqwrtant agriculniral sector in Vietnam, develops very fast but causes a pollution In accordance to Ministry of Apiculture and Rural Development, in 2015, the total quantity of pig is mitions and the solid waste is estimated to be 20 millions tons/year In the solid waste of pig breeding, the sulwtances and microorganisms which can cause disease, such as E coli (lif - lO^MPN/g), Salmonella (lif-10 eggs, if those wastei are not treated well or used as fertilizer without appropriate treatment, they can cause ; pollution Therefore, one of the best solutions for solid waste treatment is composting those wastes und Moreover, to raise ttie efTiciency and effecBveoess of the treatment, we can add Sagi Bio preparation and 10% o as straw and husk to the composting procedure The result shows that: for the Sagi-added sample, bad smell de week of ireatmenl; while for the control -sample, it took 2-3 weeks Io get the same result Importantly, the densi such as Salmonella E.coli and fecal eoUform decreased widi the treatment time; after weeks of treatment at added sample, almost disease bacteria were eliminaled, while for the coattol-sample, the density of disease b disease bactena were still available In the bottom line, the analysis of the quality of composting product afte for Sagi- Bio added sample, the amount of soluble mulch are 20-25% higher, soluble nitrogen 20-30% higher an higher than for control-sample Keywords: Microbial preparation Sagi-Bio soUd waste Bacillus, Streptomyces, •Author tor correspondence: Te);
