Task 1: Done From those plans, we can easily see the information about the village of Pebbleton twenty years ago compare to now In general, the Pebbleton village still keep those pre-existing facilities and renovate some of them First of all, we can see Pebbleton has remain majority of it’s facilities from 20 years ago The lighthouse still remain at the north west corner, the playing field still at the centre, the school still located at the south side of the village, and other roads and lane are still being used Second is those which have been renovated, the old fort near the lighthouse has been transform into children’s playground, the building which was a film studio now has been reused as flats and the number of houses also inceasing rapidly Finally is about new things in here, between houses and children’s playground is community centre Beside the lighthouse lane now have a tennis courts and behind it is a new footpath and footbridge lead to coast road Task 2: Some people think that in order to solve transport problems, governments should provide adult citizens with free bicycles To what extent you agree or disagree Done In the contemporay world, due to the thriving of economy and society, metropolises are becoming extremely crowd and this lead to an alarming issue about transportation There is an increasing number of people argue that governments should provide citizens with free bicycles in order to tackle this problem To put in a nutshell, I believe this is a very logical method and I completely agree with it To begin with, bicycle will help governments across the world to deal with transport problems There is a fact that it can not be denied, the number of cars and population is increasing rapidly and therefore, bicycle is a potential alternative travel method for inhabitants When free bicycles are available in every streets, the public might use it for travel such as go to school or work, to go shopping in order to save their budget due to the fact that we are living in a high pressure about money reality The outcome, the number of private vehicles will fastly decline along with it is the number of congestion in every city Moreover, due to the rapid decrease of number of private vehicles and congestion, the environment in metropolises all over the world will be enhanced Evidences from nations across the world such as China or USA has proved this Another reason is that cycling is a familiar activity that associate with health benefit Riding a bike regularly is a great way to help citizens reduce the risk of suffer from potetial diseases that come along with sedentary lifestyle For example, it help people control or reduce their weight, build up muscle and enhance our respiratory and circulatory system Consequences, as being stronger and healthier, citizens can work or study more effectively and in other word, it also benefit the nation economic as well By and large, bicycle is an potential alternative method of travel in metropolises across the world It is not only help nations all over the world to tackle the transport problem but also benefit their communities and economy as well ... weight, build up muscle and enhance our respiratory and circulatory system Consequences, as being stronger and healthier, citizens can work or study more effectively and in other word, it also... disagree Done In the contemporay world, due to the thriving of economy and society, metropolises are becoming extremely crowd and this lead to an alarming issue about transportation There is an... method and I completely agree with it To begin with, bicycle will help governments across the world to deal with transport problems There is a fact that it can not be denied, the number of cars and
