help students achieve the desired objectives It was of great concern of researchers around the world to find out solutions

to improve students' learning quality However, this issue was without any attention in Vietnam This article presents a theoretical overview of learning strategy; Research results on its real status; the difference among training system, gender, school year and learning outcomes with 12 specific learning strategies of 32 students at colleges and universities in Ho Chi Minh city
