Commencement Speaker John G Rocovich Jr., JD, LLM is the founder of the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) and Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr Rocovich is an attorney and the Chairman of the law firm Moss & Rocovich Attorneys-at-Law, P.C in Roanoke, where he practices taxation and trusts and estate law Mr Rocovich has dedicated himself to his alma mater, Virginia Tech, and has held many offices to assist in the enhancement of that university His interests and support extend to other areas of education and civic organizations where he serves as a board member, including colleges and universities, museums, and financial and commercial institutions Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society Sigma Sigma Phi is an Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity The objectives and purposes are to further the science of osteopathic medicine and its standards of practice and to improve the scholastic standing among its students Class of 2020 students with a 3.8 overall grade point average
