to this you will need to answer a range of questions speak at length on a given topic using appropriate language organize your ideas coherently express and justify your opinions analyze, discuss and speculate about issues Make sure that you relax and talk fluently You will need to speak naturally Four criteria of the IELTS Speaking include Fluency, Lexical resource, Grammar range and accuracy, Pronunciation Fluency Lexical resource Grammar Range And accuracy Pronunciation Talking at length, Talking without any pauses, hesitation, Talking without self-correction, Able to be understood, Using linking devices Using a range of words and paraphrasing, Using collocations, Using less common vocabulary, Avoid errors Using a range of sentence structures, Using a range of grammar tenses, Avoid errors Able to be understood throughout the test, Able to use intonation, Accent does not affect understanding, Accurate word and sound pronunciation III A SAMPLE IELTS TEST - PART The examiner asks the candidate about him/herself, his/her home, work or studies and other familiar topics Home - What kind of house or flat you live in? - What you like about the rooms in your home? - How is your home decorated? - What kind of house or flat would you like to have in the future? party, anniversaries and celebrations, but I must concur that I enjoyed this day more than any other It was a very touching and unforgettable day for me I think what made this day special was the fiancée When my parents saw me and my brother with our partners, they became emotional My mother started to cry I should mention here that my mother quite touchy person and she could cry very easily on very family gathering Some musicians were hired to play background music and they played some of my most favourite music This made the atmosphere romantic Another important aspect of the day why I remember it most was that I could meet my aunts, uncles and cousins after a long time My mother’s brothers came from Britain and the USA to joined her so I was surprised to see one of my grandpa’s sisters who came 70 from the capital city I had not seen these people for such a long time and we all got so emotional and parents really felt so happy, which was fantastic to see The best part of the event was the part of the speech given by my mother She thanked my father for sticking with her for all these years and when I took some pictures with my smart phone, I found out that my mother wasn’t the only person who cried that day Even at that point, my mother manage to crack some jokes and everybody laughed Finally the program ended when my parents cut the cake and everybody present in the
