LESSON PLAN – GRADE UNIT 10 – LESSON 3: GRAMMAR – SONG Lesson duration: 35 minutes Teacher: ………………………………………… School year: 2021 - 2022 I OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: Knowledge: Language - recall vocabulary on vacation topic such as luggage, newspaper, magazines, arrivals, departures, money, suitcase, etc - understand and use quantity articles ‘some, any’ in positive, negative sentences and questions - write a brief description on things in a store Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing Competence: - Communication: make sentences and questions using some, any - Collaboration: work in pairs/groups - Critical thinking: evaluate ideas, make decisions and solve the problems - Creativity: make up a dialogue between a shopkeeper and customers in a store at the airport Qualities/ Values: - Diligence: working on the assigned tasks - Responsibility: students have proper attitudes and behave kindly and politely in public areas II RESOURCES AND MATERIALS: - Family and friends (special edition) – student book page 76 - Smart TV - Laptop - Projector - Flower spinners - Worksheets, handouts III TEACHING PROCEDURES: STAGES Warm up mins TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES - Greet students - Ask students to sing Hello song and actions - Weather report - Ask and answer about dates Game: Flower spinners NOTES whole class Individual Review mins - Each student will receive a flower spinner - Teacher shows questions on the screen - Students read the question, then use the flower spinner to choose the correct answer Lead in: Introduction mins Practice 15 mins - Teacher shows a slide of things including luggage, money, newspaper, magazines - Teacher asks students to identify these things and click on these objects After all these words disappear, the picture of a store appears - Teacher introduces the structure: Do you have any newspapers?
