Usage: *Use to talk about an action which started in the past and continuous up to now Ex:  I have been a teacher for more than ten years * Use to talk about an action happened in the past not identify the time We can use the Present Perfect with unspecific expressions such as: ever, never, just, so far, already, yet, since, for, up to now,… PAST PARTICIPLE: * REGULAR VERB: BARE INFINITIVE + ED EX: WANT → WANTED VISIT → VISITED CLOSE → CLOSED STOP → STOPPED *IRREGULAR VERB: V3 GO → GONE BEGIN → BEGUN TELL → TOLD BUY → BOUGHT FORM : Ex: SIMPLE PAST We walked to the sea Why did you go? Why did you take your love from me? What did you say? Why did you take your love away?
