1. IP :
International Priority Services
International Priority provides fast, customs-cleared, door-to-door delivery of shipments to international destinations (including post office boxes in most non-U.S. locations).
International Priority (IP) service is available for shipments that cross international borders. Customers rely on FedEx for complete International Priority and Air Cargo services with the features that make shipping throughout the world easy. International services and their associated features are described on the following pages.
General Features of IP services
All features are not available to or from every destination. (Check the SRG)
• Pick-up, Delivery and Customs Clearance
IP service is available from Monday to Friday for all packages. Saturday delivery is available to the US, Canada, and other select locations.
• Package Tracking
It is FedEx policy to track each package in the system. The scanning system (PowerPad, SuperTracker) reads barcodes on all packages and this allows us to know the exact location of the package in seconds. The customers are also able to view the package tracking on FedEx website.
• ExpressClear Electronic Customs Clearance
ExpressClear is our customs clearance process that uses electronic data exchange, image processing, and fax technology to initiate and expedite clearance activities before shipments land at their destination. By giving customs agents and brokers an early start on
clearancerelated
paperwork, this service helps get international shipments to their destination faster, with fewer delays.
• Proof of Delivery (POD)
FedEx offers either verbal or written confirmation of delivery on International Priority shipments. This information includes delivery date, time and the name of the person who signed for the shipment.

A free service, which after registering the customer will be able to:
• Track without a tracking or reference number. Customer Account number must be on the AWB in either shipper, recipient or payor fields.
• Receive proactive shipment notifications. • Monitor all of your shipments.

Where permitted by law, FedEx will either refund or credit transportation charges if a shipment
is delivered after our published delivery time or the shipment is damaged or lost by FedEx. The FedEx Refund Policy also applies to shipments held for pick-up.
The refund policy does not apply to duties and taxes paid on any shipment (unless they are lost or damaged) or to shipments:
delayed by Customs
customs cleared by a Broker other than FedEx marked with an incorrect address
refused by the Consignee
delayed by weather or other ‘Acts of God’ eg. weather, flood, earthquake incorrect/incomplete Air Waybill information or customs documentation delayed by civil disorder. E.g. war or strike

IPF is for time-definite premium airfreight service for international shipments containing unitised forkliftable single pieces or skids above 150lbs/68kgs.

Commodity Restrictions: For Dangerous Goods shipment, DG unique packaging is required
complied with the IATA Dangerous Goods regulation.
Packaging : All IPF pieces have to be palletised, skidded, stackable and either banded
and/or shrink-wrapped.
Each skid will be billed at a minimum billable weight of 68kgs. The weight per skid for any shipment will be calculated by averaging the total shipment weight over the number of skids in the shipment. Examples:
(a) 100kg + 50kg =>average 75kg =>75kg x 2 = 150kg
(b) 80kg + 50kg => average 65 kg => minimum billable weight 68kg each=> 68kg x 2 = 136kg
An ‘Oversize IP’ is possible to be moved as IPF without skid but the average 150lbs/68kgs minimum billable weight per piece will be applied.
