- in + tháng/ năm/ tháng + năm / thế kỷ/ các buổi trong ngày / các mùa

Eg: In the summer , we go swimming twice a week.

In the morning, I often have 5 classes.

- on + thứ/ ngày+ tháng/ ngày + tháng + năm/ on Christmas Day

Eg: I have a meeting on Sunday morning.

- at + giờ/ các thời điểm

Eg: The party ended at 11 p.m / late at night

- between + thời gian + and + thời gian

Eg: The class is between 8 and 8.45.

- Before >< after + thời gian

Eg: The lunchtime is after 12 o’clock.

- From + thời gian + upto/to + thời gian : Từ … đến / đến tận…

Eg: The meeting will be from 7 to / up to 11.

- Till = until + thời gian : cho tới khi

Eg: He didn’t stop singing until 12 / the police came.

- For + khoảng thời gian

Eg: We walked for 20 minutes to the picnic site on the river bank.
