I Aim of the lesson: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to express classroom commands and give permissions

-Grammar: Open/close your book, please May I go out? Sure

-Vocabulary: open, close, go, out, sure

III Teaching aids: Cassette player, Student’s book, workbook

Warm up (5mins)

-Review: Give some pictures, let ss ask and anwer about each picture.(T and one st first):

T: Is your book small? S1: yes, it is

-Give remarks

Work in pairs: S1: Is your pen big? S2: No, it isn’t. Give remarks

Presentation (10mins)

- Giving introduction of the text: Have ss look at the picture:

T asks:“ where are they?/What’re they doing?”

*Introduce vocabulary: +open(v):(explanation) +close(v)

+go(v) +out(adv) +sure(adj)

*Check vocabulary:

-T give commands,encouage ss to -Correct their mistakes

1 Listen and repeat:

-Play CD let ss listen twice - Ask Ss to repeat in chorus - Let Ss read in pairs

- Call some pairs to read it aloud -Give remarks

Look at the book and answer the T’s questions

Guess what they are talking about

Read again in chorus and individually
