I Aims. 1.Knowledge.

- By the end of this lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about outdoor activities, using

New words: cycling, skating, flying kites, skipping. Structure: What are they doing?

They are cycling

2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading. 3 Attitude.

- Educate Ss to be friendly with friends

- Educate Ss how to join in some outside activities and suit with thei weather II.Teaching aids:

T: Books, teachers’ book, , cards , poster and cassette tape. Ss: student book, notebooks book.

III Teaching method: MAT, TPA. IV/ Procedure

2.Warm up ( 4’)

- Ask Ss sing a song ( Do you like toy? ) - Comment

-Lead in the new lesson: Unit 19 - Lesson1(1.2.3) 3 New lesson ( 30’ )

- T: Ask Ss to open their book on page 58 and describe pictures

- Have the whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation

T: Ask Sts to look at the pictures on page 58 and identify the characters

- set the scene and model new words - Ss: listen and repeat

check vocabulary: Rub out and remember.

Use the puppets/picture to introduce the characters

T: Explain the requirement of this part as well as the sentence patterns
