Lesson ( part ) I Aims.

1/Knowledge.

- By the end of the lesson , students will be able to recognize and pronounce the letter Cc and its sound correctly

- Understand, recognize and say the three Cc words. - Write the letter Cc.

2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading. 3 Attitude.

- Educate Ss to be friendly with friends - Students love animals with the letter c - S; Le Ngoc Linh know the letter C

II.Teaching aids:

T: teachers’ book, , CD, phonics cards ,paper including the lyrics of the chant Ss: Student’s book, colour Activity book.

2.Warm up ( 5’)

- Rewrite and read aloud the letter, sound and the words: Bb, ball, bear, bed,beer 3 New lesson ( 30’ )

* Activity 1.( 10’)

-T:Introduction of letter c, Its sound and how to pronounce the words beginning with Cc

- T:Use a card with letter Cc or write on the board the letter Cc to introduce to the

students the new lesson

- Ss: look at the letter listen and repeat - Ss: work individually

-T: Ask students how to pronouce the letter

1 Listen , point and repeat .Colour.

name and the letter sound by saying “ This is the letter Cc / si:/ The letter C makes the / k / sound

-Repeat several times and check student’s pronunciation(letter Cc / si: / and its sound / k /

- Ss: look at the cards listen and repeat - Ss: work in pairs

-T:Use gestures (hand actions ) to help students to understand the meanings of the three words

-T:Check student’s understanding T says the words,all ss actions and vice versa

-T:Call some Ss to say the words out loud and correct their mistakes

*Activity1 : Letter writing race - T:Put the phonics cards of clock,cat,carrot ,Cc on the board

- Ss open their notebook and write many words as they can

- Ss: work in groups - T:Give Ss the times

- T:The winner is the S who has written the most

*Activity 3: Where the letter (8)

- T:Ask ss to work in groups T hangs out the photographs about the story and ask Ss to circle the letter

- T gives the time - Ss: work in droups

- T corrects and praise the winner

*S; Le Ngoc Linh listen and repaet letter c

* Activity Production:

- T:Show the letter Cc again, and ask Ss to write the Cc in air with their fingers

-T: Ask ss to write down the words cat, carrot, clock into their notebook

4.Consolidation (3’)

- T asks whole class to read the letter aloud

I.Aims

1/Knowledge.

- By the end of the lesson , students will be able to recognize and pronounce the letter Cc and its sound correctly

- Understand, recognize and say the three Cc words. - Write the letter Cc.

Vocabulary: cat, clock, carrot Sight words: I ,am ,a

2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading. 3 Attitude.

- Open your book page10

- Ss to look at the books and point to the words cat and say I am a cat

-Use gestures ( hand actions ) to help ss to understanding the meaning of command -Ask Ss to point to (clock,carrot)the correcsponding of the picture and repeat - Ask ss to look at the pairs of picture on the side and choose the correct picture

- Ss: look at the pictures and - Ss: work individually and pairs

- T goes round the classroom ,asking Ss to name the items they are matching

*S; Le Ngoc Linh listen and point letter c

*Activitiy2 :Draw it - Divide Ss into teams

- T reads aloud the name of words, Ss quickly draw it

- Ss: work individually

- Which team has the most point will be winner Continue the game as many times as necessary

* Activity 3(10)

-Put up the lyris of the chant on the board - Ss: look at the board

- Without music , use the phonics card and step ss to sing the chant with cat Do the same with clock and carrot

- Ss: listen and repeat the song - Ss: work individually and groups - With music ,the whole class sing the whole chant Do the chant again using gestures for each word

- Give feedback

-Ask Ss to write the chant in to note book -Ask Ss to excersise in the work book
