Câu đề nghị lịch với:
- Would / you mind + V-ing ?( diễn tả lời yêu cầu lịch sự)
- Ex: Would you mind telling me the result of the exam? ( Xin vui lịng nói cho tơi kết kì thi)
- Would / you mind if + (a clause) ( diễn tả yêu cầu làm điều gì) - Ex: Do you mind if I open the window? (Cho mở cửa sổ nhé?)
(động từ chia đơn)
- Ex: Would you mind if I opened the window? (Cho mở cửa sổ nhé?) (động từ chia khứ đơn)
Động Phân từ khứ (Ved) Động phân từ (V-ing):
- Cách dùng phân từ (V – ing): đứng sau danh từ hay cụm danh từ để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ hay cụm danh từ mang nghĩa chủ động (Dùng cho người)
Ex: The boy reading the book in the library is my friend HTPT
- Cách dùng khứ phân từ (V – ed / V3): đứng sau danh từ hay một cụm danh từ để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ hay cụm danh từ mang nghĩa bị động (Dùng cho vật)
Ex: The old lamp made in China is five dollars QKPT

1 Thì khứ tiếp diễn: S + was/were + V-ing + O
-> She was doing homework at o’clock last night S + was/were + not + V-ing + O
-> She wasn’t doing homework at o’clock last night Was/were +S + V-ing + O?
-> Was she doing homework at o’clock last night? *Thì khứ tiếp diễn với “While When”
