I. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to
- improve their listening skill through gap-filling exercises
- know how to use present tense with future meaning to talk about their schedules, timetables II. Language contents:

ACTIVITIES CONTENT
(3 minutes)
To get students’ attention, to remind students of the previous lesson ,and to make the environment of learning English.
- Play the video clip “ Can you help me? – Sure, I can”
- First, have Ss listen to the song, after that tell them to sing it with the speechless music part
(2)- Have Ss fill in the table with suitable sentences (matching) - Make necessary corrections and
give marks
(15 minutes) *Prelistening:
(Group work) (3 minutes)
To teach some vocabulary so that Ss can listen to the task easily.
- Explain some difficult words (using pictures; explanations;
translation to illustrate) - Have Ss repeat the new words
after the teacher (choral and individuals)
- Checking Ss’ comprehension of the vocabulary (Matching) - Ask Ss to look at Margarette’s
song on page 56 and predict the missing words
- Divide the song into small parts, each group one part, have them compare answers with other groups
*While-listening:

To improve Ss’ listening skills and keep the class actively involved in listening
- Play the whole song one time, then play one by one sentence of the song
- Have groups listen, take notes
