* Some: vài, ít, dùng với danh từ số nhiều đếm khơng đếm được số

Vd: Some apples, some meat

2 Countable noun and Uncountable noun (Danh từ đếm danh từ không đếm được)

1 Danh từ đếm (Countable nouns)

Là danh từ đối tượng đếm Danh từ đếm có dạng số ( Singular) danh từ số nhiều ( Plural) Với hầu hết danh từ đếm được, ta thêm –shoặc-es để chuyển từ dạng số sang số nhiều

Singular (số ít) Plural (số nhiều)

a cat some cats, two cats

an orange some oranges, two oranges

Là danh từ đối tượng khơng đếm Vì danh từ khơng đếm có dạng số mà khơng có dạng số nhiều

Vd: rice, water, cofffee, meat, bread

Ghi nhớ:

- Dùng some trước Danh từ không đếm Danh từ đếm số nhiều

- Không dùng a an trước Danh từ không đếm

Vd: some meat, some bread

- Một số thức ăn sử dụng với Danh từ đếm Danh từ không đếm được:
