Chatting: (about the house.) - Does your house have a yard? - What are there near your house? - Is there a river near your house? Question

-Ask one student to decribe about place where he/ she is living

III NEW LESSON:

Step : Presentation (12’) Activity Vocabulary : Listen to the teacher

- Repeat after the teacher (chorally then individually)

- Notice the main stress pattern

- Write the new words in their notebooks Check voc : S.T.B

Put the Vietnamese translation on the board

1./ Vocabulary

- town (n) : thị xã

- village (n): làng xóm

Say the Vietnamese translation - Listen to the teacher

- Call two students of two teams to the front of the class

- Run forward and slap the correct words on the board

- Continue until students have slapped all the words

- Call out one of the English words in loud voice

Activity Listen and write: (A4 P.64)

- Ask Ss to look at the table in the book (p 64) and read the items in it

- T: Have Ss guess the items in the tap

- T: Ask Ss to read the words listed in the grid T: Ask Ss to listen to the tape twice and write their answers on the draft

Step : Production (8’) Activity Chain Game:

Activity Guessing Game:
